Hi, I'm Ethan Hawthorne, founder and owner of Anointed Aviation.

I'm a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) with over five years of aviation experience and more than two years of flight instruction . My greatest passion isn't just flying airplanes—it's helping others discover the freedom, confidence, and opportunities that aviation provides.

My journey into aviation wasn't a straight path.

After high school, I explored several different industries and even attended college for multiple fields of study, hoping to find the career I was meant for. No matter what I tried, nothing truly fit. I spent countless hours praying, asking God to guide me toward the purpose He had for my life.

Then one day, while praying, something unexpected happened. I came across an advertisement for flight training. It immediately caught my attention, and I thought, "Why not look into it?"

Looking back, it made perfect sense.

I've always loved to travel, enjoyed solving technical challenges, and thrived in environments that required discipline, precision, and continuous learning. Aviation combined all of those passions into one incredible career.

I scheduled a discovery flight and from the moment the wheels left the ground, I was hooked.

Since then, I've dedicated myself to becoming the safest, most knowledgeable pilot and instructor I can be. Every certificate, rating, and hour in the cockpit has strengthened my passion for aviation and my desire to help others achieve their own dreams of flight.

Today, through Anointed Aviation, my mission is to provide high quality, personalized flight training in an encouraging and professional environment. Whether you're taking your very first discovery flight, working toward your private pilot certificate, earning an instrument rating, or pursuing a professional aviation career, I'm committed to helping you succeed every step of the way.

I believe learning to fly is about more than earning certificates—it's about building confidence, developing sound decision-making skills, and becoming the kind of pilot others can trust.
